Car spies have spotted a next-gen Mini Countryman, which comes based on the same chassis as the next BMW X1 and is likely to be larger than its predecessor.
Judging by the images, the car has a large round display in the middle of the front panel with a few physical buttons underneath (hazard lights, window heating etc).
The oval-shaped display behind the steering wheel will likely only contain some critical information for the driver. An extendable HUD can also be seen.
Mini has not announced the launch date yet. It would make sense for the crossover SUV to come out after the much-anticipated three-door hatchback, and the latter is coming in 2023. Aside from it, we also expect a Countryman coupe-SUV to arrive later on as a successor of sorts to the long-discontinued Mini Paceman.
