The
Japanese company Mitsubishi Electric presented its unique development - the
prototype EMIRAI 4. The concept will be shown at the international motor show
in Tokyo. The most interest in the car is the projection display with augmented
reality.
The screen
is able to allocate the roadway and marking, helping the navigation system to
orient the driver. The developers assure that their system will help reduce
accidents on the roads in bad weather conditions and low visibility.
EMIRAI 4
also boasts a large screen multimedia system and an installed joystick. It will
help the driver to switch different functions of the car without being
distracted from control.
Also in the
list of "chips" of the machine are: a modern digital instrument
panel, a system that monitors the driver's well-being, can recognize unsafe
driving and other functions. Also the machine is equipped with an external
warning system which, for example, will warn others about the upcoming opening
of the door using light signals.
Interestingly,
Mitsubishi Electric specializes not in cars, but in the development of air
conditioners, elevators and escalators.
