The Mitsubishi Super Height K-Wagon Concept can travel hundreds of miles unattended

Mitsubishi has come to the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show with a kei car concept called the Super Height K-Wagon. Although technically a prototype, it looks like a production-ready vehicle – although no estimations are being provided on that count.

According to Mitsubishi, the car primarily targets lovers of long-distance trips who appreciate comfort and utility. It has sliding doors in the back and sports quite a generous amount of road clearance for its class. In conjunction with the tiny overhangs, it should be pretty capable off-road.

The intricate paintwork combines a green body with black pillars and white roof. The cabin trim is highly impressive, both in terms of expensive materials used and the amount of available equipment. There is a plethora of electronic driver aids on board, too, including the Mi-Pilot system that can keep the car going unattended for hours on end as long as it does so on country roads; driving in settlements still requires human attention.
