Dan, the owner of this 2005 Mitsubishi Fuso FG140 camper and the star of this video, is a Vietnam War veteran enjoying a nomad’s life of retirement. He bought the commercial truck and transformed it into a living space himself.
The car features two hinged panels at the sides that you can swing upwards for an easy access to the interior. There are numerous storage opportunities there, drawers on each side and a special rotating cabinet with pots, frying pans and grain products stored inside. The bumper houses spare fuel canisters and fresh water cans.
The living quarters offer a portable WC, a table and a modest-sized bed for one person, although there is another folding bed that can be used when needed. The project is still a work in progress, with Dan saying he will be adding much-needed kitchen sink and shower cabin next.
