Poland-based camper manufacturer Azimoo has released the Tepui, a highly versatile and comfort-focused vehicle for travel enthusiasts and nature lovers. Let’s see what buyers get for their €300,000 or more.
The base vehicle is a Mitsubishi Fuso Canter 4x4, a diesel truck sending 175 PS (173 hp / 129 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. It supports trailers weighing up to 6.5 metric tons (14,330 pounds) and covers more than 2,000 kilometers (1,242 miles) with the fuel tanks maxed out. You can take up to 300 liters (79 U.S. gallons) of fresh water with you, and solar panels will keep your electricity needs covered on sunny days with their combined generation of 1 kW. Should that be not enough, a 2.2-kW diesel generator is provided as well.
Speaking of which: there is plenty of equipment on board that could use the power. There are surround-view cameras, an audio system built from Alpine and Focal components, and all kinds of kitchen appliances. A full-blown kitchen resides inside the car, but you can pull out a two-burner stove and a mini-sink from the rear right side of the truck and cook outdoors for a change. A 270-degree awning enables dining outside on both hot and rainy days. Should the weather get too extreme for your tastes, the 10 square meters (107.6 square feet) of living space inside are fully climate-controlled.
The complete list of modifications is way too long to quote it here, but you may check out the short video to get a good idea of the camper. Its development took three years to complete, and the final design is meant for two residents, although you can accommodate a couple of guests on extra beds.
The Azimoo Tepui is already available to pre-order in Poland.
