In its performance report for the past fiscal year, Mitsubishi has also made a mention of its planned car releases. There will be six launches in 2023 in total, including those already announced and those still wrapped in mystery.
The list begins with the Kei car called Delica Mini and the next-generation ASX crossover, which is essentially a rebadged Renault Captur. The new L200 is also getting ready to debut, although it will be called ‘Triton’ in its next design iteration. We have only seen it in camo thus far, but it seemed to have the latest Nissan Navara at its base.
The presentation slide features three more vehicles that remain unannounced. In all likelihood, the company will be unveiling a production car later this year based on its XFC concept shown in the video here. It is expected to be a crossover SUV sized smaller than the ASX.
There will also be a new Colt, which has already cropped up in a few teaser pics. The hatchback remains largely a mystery, but it could borrow most of its tech from the Renault Clio.
Last but not least, the XPander minivan should undergo another planned facelift and get a hybrid version. Judging by the cover, though, it might end up with certain visual updates as well as technical.
