Mitsubishi tease the new Colt ahead of June reveal

Mitsubishi has posted a new teaser pic showing its revived Colt hatchback that it plans to unveil on June 8, 2023.

The image only shows a part of the rear end with the brand name spanning the entire width of the tailgate and two-tier brake lights.

We know on official terms that the new Colt runs on CMF-B underpinnings and is closely related to the Renault Clio and the Nissan Micra. It will probably look more like its French cousin, especially since both will be assembled at the same factory in Turkey.

An earlier teaser pic focused on a badge saying ‘Hybrid EV’. We expect the new Colt to use the same 1.6-liter engine as the latest Renault Clio, which comes bundled with an electric motor and produces 140 PS (138 hp / 103 kW) in this setup.
