Mitsubishi unveils its Tokyo lineup

Mitsubishi has revealed its vehicle fleet for the TAS-2023 opening on Friday. There are nine modifications of production cars with the emphasis on off-road performance and Kei aesthetic, especially relevant for the recently introduced Delica Mini.

The Kei car lineup opens with a Delica Mini Snow Survivor, which boasts a new paint coat, a heavy-duty front bumper, a roof rack, beadlocked wheels and Toyo off-road tires. Next down the line is a Delica Mini Coleman, which is largely the same but finished differently with some extra accessories on board.

Both show prototypes pack beds and linens, allowing their passengers to spent a night or two in the cabin. The Snow Survivor will later become a trim version of the larger Delica D5 model.

Also on the Kei car list are the customized eK Cross EV and Minicab Mieve B-Leisure. The former was styled to look more like the Delica Mini, and the latter resembles a camper and manages to combine a work office with a cabinet for mountain river fishing gear – all in one vehicle.

Larger tuned rides include the Delica D5 mentioned above and Black Editions of the Eclipse Cross and Outlander models. The Black pack brings along a special exterior hue, black trim pieces and an expedition rack.

Rounding off the show lineup is the Triton, a racing pickup that was designed by Ralliart and won the 2022 Asia Cross Country rally (watch the video for details).
