Mitsubishi has announced its range electrification plans for the next decade – and they appear modest at best. The first pure EV will emerge in 2022 co-designed with Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC).
No further details are provided on that car. The second EV will be the product of Mitsubishi-Nissan collaboration, and it will be compact-sized.
The Mitsubishi i-MiEV (see video), which is considered the Japanese marque’s first production EV, will become history before the end of the current fiscal year.
As for the Eclipse Cross, the Outlander and the Xpander, the trio will go part-electric.
