Spy shots have cropped up online depicting the upcoming Mitsubishi L200 in what has to be its production body.
No amount of disguise can conceal the fact that the truck is getting a new front fascia complete with a larger radiator grille. A closer look at the photos reveals slim DRLs and C-shaped main lights. As for the grille itself, it now has a mesh pattern.
A side view reveals that the outlines stay the same overall, but the dimensions are larger (you may watch the enclosed video showing the old generation and compare for yourself). The wheelbase is marginally longer, which enables lengthening the cabin and truck bed a little bit.
Despite global electrification trend, the new L200 is expected to come with a number of traditional petrol and diesel engines to choose from, subject to regional availability. A plug-in hybrid variant is expected as well, but at a later date.
