We hadn’t gotten any new spy shots of the next-gen Mitsubishi L200 pickup, otherwise known as Triton or Strada, since July, but the waiting is finally over.
The L200 pictured here is definitely an off-road modification of sorts. It sports a large mesh grille at the front, U-shaped headlights surrounded by two-tier lamps, and an air intake in the lower fascia.
Unlike the other examples we have seen so far, this one wears some additional body protection around its wheel arches, has convenient-looking running boards and a roof rack. A closer look at the tail-end reveals vertical taillights and a traditional solid tailgate – a step back from the trendy multi-function tailgates of today.
It is official that the next-gen L200 model has a longer wheelbase and a wider track than the old generation. The powertrain selection remains a mystery, though.
