Mitsubishi previews its TAS-2024 concept lineup

The Japanese automaker will be attending the Tokyo Auto Salon starting tomorrow with as many as seven modified vehicles. The next-generation L200/Triton truck (see video) will be the main highlight, but it will share the podium with upgraded Delica, Delica mini and Outlander models.

Starting with the L200, it will get three OEM tuning kits. The simplest one will make do with an exclusive finish known as Yamabuki Orange Metallic and a large number of rugged body trims. The second kit, Snow Shredder, will improve upon the first one with lots of off-road accessories targeted towards active leisure enthusiasts.

Both the L200 and the Delica minivan will get a Ralliart livery for the show, but the L200 Ralliart will make do with only slight modifications – new wheels, a snorkel and mudguards. In contrast, the Delica will get powerful floodlights for nighttime driving, an expedition rack and all of the above.

The Outlander Hybrid Active Field will hit the stage disguised as an off-roader – wheels and all. It will be finished in black and will carry a roof rack.

Finally, a minivan duo – Delica and Delica mini – will debut in a special edition called Chamonix Snow Gear, introducing new front bumper trims, a lower windshield spoiler, auxiliary lighting and a roof rack.
