Vilner teaches a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer some Bushido

Designers from the renowned car tuning firm Vilner have worked their magic on a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. The vehicle has left the workshop with a new name – Allroads Ronin – and a swanky body kit made of black plastic. You may or may not like its appearance, but you can’t deny that it’s the inner contents that matter the most.

But we’ll get to that later. The tuners embroidered their ride with a decorative embossed pattern copied directly from a samurai armor suit. The same pattern can be found on the headrests and the central armpad. The dashboard and the upper door parts of the Mitsubishi Allroads Ronin are trimmed with Amaretta – a Japanese brand of synthetic suede.

Numerous decorative elements found in the interior of the car reference samurai’s main weapon, the katana, in one way or another. These are all colored metallic grey for maximum authenticity.

The overall design of the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart dashboard by Vilner mimics that of Ferrari, while the steering wheel is draped in premium-quality leather. There is a state-of-the art infotainment center with a powerful speaker system onboard, and some added noise insulation.

As for the power core of the Mitsubishi Allroads Ronin, it’s a mid-range 2.0L turbo engine with 241 hp and 353 Nm of torque. No big surprises here.

Vilner declined comment on the identity of the customer or the cost of the tuning.
