Dip Your Car has posted a YouTube video where the team tries to give a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution a fluorescent coat.
Apparently, making your ride glow in the dark isn’t as simple as buying a can of paint and going for it: depending on the current color, the effect may be lessened or even negated. The tuner had to pick eight different pigments, mix them up with enamel, put into a container and tuck away in a dark place. Only two pigments proved suitable for the job.
The application occurred in several stages, after each of which the team turned off the lights and inspected the result for brightness. In the end, the Evo soaked in as much as four gallons of paint (around 15 liters).
