Mitsubishi has proceeded with the assembly of its new Outlander series in Okazaki, Japan. The first batch will be shipped to North America.
We had expected to see more images when this would happen, but the company never released any. Based on the earlier teaser pics and spy shots, the SUV looks a bit like the Engelberg Tourer Concept (watch the video if you would like to compare).
The platform is the same as that of the Nissan Rogue, and the company promises us a range of hybrid powertrains, higher-quality trim materials and extended options.
