Mitsubishi announced today that the premiere of a plug-in hybrid Outlander SUV would take place on Thursday, October 28, 2021. In the meantime, here are some new images showing the car from the outside and inside.
To put it simply, the Outlander PHEV looks identical to its ICE counterpart except for badges and a charging port. The dashboard gets a battery charge indicator and a few other hybrid-specific mods, but otherwise also remains stock.
By default, the car ships with three rows of seats and 20-inch bi-color wheels. You can choose from 10 available exterior colors.
Technical parameters remain undisclosed, but Mitsubishi did mention earlier that the part-electric Outlander would have more power and range than the ICE car.
Sales in the United States are expected to begin in the second half of 2022.
