Mitsubishi launches another Pajero IV facelift in China

Mitsubishi has released another light facelift for its Pajero IV series. The update will be sold exclusively in China.

This is the second facelift the Mitsubishi Pajero IV gets on the Chinese market. The first one was released in 2017 and featured an advanced infotainment system. The current refresh is more about exterior beautifications.

This time around, the vehicle has received a new radiator grille with three chrome-coated ribs and silver-trimmed rear lights. Its options list now includes heated seats, climate control, cruise control, 360° view camera system, a panoramic roof, and a wireless phone charger.

The engine palette is still represented by a single 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine good for 174 hp (130 kW) and 255 Nm (188 lb·ft) of torque, working in conjunction with a five-speed automatic transmission and AWD.

The refreshed series actually comes with a lower price tag. While the old Mitsubishi Pajero IV lineup cost U.S. $55,800 and above, the new one begins at U.S. $52,800.

Only the seven-seat modification of Pajero IV is available in China.
