Mitsubishi announced the coming of the next-gen Triton truck in March this year when it revealed the production-close XRT Concept. The pickup is now ready for the market and is scheduled to debut on July 26, 2023.
In the meantime, the automaker has released a short video teaser showing us the headlights and taillights of the new Triton, its body outlines and the various regions of the world where it had been tested. The new generation looks nearly indistinguishable from the XRT, because the latter was more of a prototype than a concept. Per the manufacturer, the production truck was “reimagined in line with the new brand identity.”
Among other things, this means that the drivers get a tablet-like infotainment screen, a transmission knob, hardware buttons on the HVAC panel and more buttons for the driving assists.
