According to the latest public opinion poll in the United States, over fifty percent of the population isn’t ready or willing to replace ICE cars in their life with EVs.
The reasons most often quoted included weak, underdeveloped infrastructure, mainly outside of big cities, and insufficient range capacity. Not even the recent government incentives aimed at increasing charging station coverage could sway the prevailing negative opinion that Americans have of modern battery cars.
Last but not least, high prices of such cars continue to be an issue.
