The first classic Mini car debuted in 1959 and was 3,054 mm (119.3 inches) head to tail – a good 500 mm (20 inches) shorter than most modern compacts. Nevertheless, it quickly became the object of numerous ‘shrinking’ projects. One such Mini will soon be up for bidding in the UK.
Judging by the images. the car is barely two meters (78 inches) long, if at all. The author of the build had to make the roof and the doors from scratch and carefully align them with each other. The OEM front seats are no more, replaced with the OEM rear bench with a hole cut in it for the parking brake lever.
The shorty comes finished in vivid orange and uses a stock IC engine rated at 38 PS (37 hp / 28 kW) to move about. There is no information regarding its possible starting price at the moment.
