Scotland-based EV startup firm Munro Vehicles has decided to improve the design of its first vehicle, the Series-M, before it could reach the production lines. The price stayed unchanged at £75,995 before options.
According to the company, it received constructive feedback from the customers and decided to improve the construction of the vehicle. In its final design, the Series-M is an off-roader based on a proprietary stainless-steel frame and an aluminum body. Buyers can choose from three body styles: SUV, pickup truck and bare chassis with a cab, but the latter remains to be revealed in any detail.
As for the SUV and the pickup, they are identical in size at 4,590 mm long, 1,812 mm wide and 2,010 mm tall. The ground clearance is very impressive at 480 mm (18.75 inches), and all wheels are driven. There is only one electric motor, though, which outputs 381 PS (376 hp / 280 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque to an all-wheel-drive system through a transfer case.
The maximum driving range is rated at 322 km (200 miles) with the standard 85-kWh battery pack.
