Jada Toys has opened preorders for its 1:18 Batmobile replica in Germany. The toy car costs €92.96 and is already featured on photos and in videos, despite the fact that the new Batman movie won’t hit the big screen until March 2, 2022.
It seems that the vehicle is not nearly as futuristic as its predecessors from other movies, especially not like the Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s trilogy. In contrast, it looks rather like a rare North American muscle car with some upgrades slapped on.
Highlights include a heavy-duty front bumper, a U-shaped hood, detailed side sills, and some cabin trim elements. The engine sits above the rear axle and looks like a V8 twin-turbo with some kind of booster attached.
