Badass carbon kit and 712 HP: Manhart turns the G-Wagon into G700 Inferno

German tuner Manhart Performance has been taking orders for custom Mercedes-Benz G-Class (W464) since 2018. Hours ago, the firm came out with another finished project, which also relies upon TopCar’s Inferno kit.

The Russian tuner provided the full set of carbon aerodynamic parts for the bulky SUV, painted to match the black body. Manhart swapped the standard wheels out for its in-house 23-inch forged rims with a dual-ten-spoke pattern. Frankly speaking, we feel a different set would do the brutal-looking SUV more justice, but to everyone their own.

What is decidedly welcome in any case is the engine upgrade. By changing the turbochargers, intensifying air intake and reprogramming the ECUs, the team persuaded the on-board V8 to churn out 712 hp (531 kW) along with 1,030 Nm (760 lb-ft) of torque.
