Chevrolet Corvette Z06 gets a supercharger kit from Callaway

Since late 80s, Callaway Automobile has been famous for its twin-turbo upgrade kits for the entire Chevrolet Corvette range. Now, the company finally offers a boost for the previous-gen Z06 ‘Vette.

The so-called Callaway SC757 Tuning Kit includes a high-end supercharger, an intercooler system, a carbon-fiber engine lid and other components. Once installed, they help the 6.2-liter V8 to produce additional 107 hp (80 kW) and 173 Nm (128 lb-ft) of torque. In absolute figures, this means up to 757 hp (564 kW) and 1,053 Nm (777 lb-ft).

Tuned like this, the supercar zaps from zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and covers a quarter-mile distance in 10.5 seconds.

The SC757 kit is available at authorized Chevrolet dealerships throughout the United States and comes with a warranty valid for 36 months or 36,000 miles (58,000 kilometers) of use, whichever comes first.
