Wald rolls out 2 Mercedes-Benz G-Class W463 styling kits

Japanese tuner Wald International has released two new styling packages for the pre-facelift Mercedes-Benz G-Class (W463). One of these makes the SUV look like the fancy new W463A, whereas the other mimics the iconic design of Tonka Trucks.

The former option is relatively tame in terms of both appearance and tech, so let’s begin with it. It comes based on the well-known Wald Black Bison body kit that adds 100 mm (around 4 inches) to the width of the car and lends it a Panamericana-style grille. It also includes a new front bumper with enlarged air intakes and LED DRLs, a rear apron with a diffuser-shaped part, roof-mounted light bar and spoiler, and a ventilated hood cover. Customers may opt for a new exhaust system featuring side-pipes, a set of 24-inch Illima Forged wheels, and any of the various available tire sets.

The Tonka Style version is particularly interesting, because it comes with even wider fenders and tires, taller suspension and a different body kit. Wald’s Instagram account hints that this may be the second edition of the Black Bison kit, but the info is missing from the official website. Availability and pricing remain likewise unknown. Let’s wait for more news, then!
