1050 HP for $115k: SVE unveils the 2021 Yenko/SC Stage 2 Camaro

Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE for short) is a tuner team widely known for turning production cars into hypercars as far as acceleration performance is concerned. This Chevy Camaro Yenko/SC Stage 2 capable of 1,050 horsepower (783 kilowatts) is their latest project.

The donor car be either a Camaro 1SS or 2SS, but the 1LE Package is a hard requirement in both cases. The company explains that the 1LE spec introduces more efficient cooling solutions and superior suspension components, ensuring that the car remains stable and reasonably safe to drive after such an extreme round of tuning.

No specific acceleration figures are provided, but the three-year warranty the power upgrade comes with leaves us fairly convinced that everything has been properly tested in advance. SVE plans to create 50 such vehicles for U.S. and Canada customers only.

Prices start from U.S. $70,000 for the upgrade alone, so if you factor in the cost of a new Camaro 1LE, the grand total will be $115,000 or higher.
