Genesis GV60 cabin pics leak online

We have already seen pre-production copies of the all-electric SUV Genesis GV60 running road tests, and the latest leak has now revealed its cabin as well.

Curiously enough, whoever made these photos had to sit inside the car, so the Korean premium automaker might want to revise its IP protection policy. What’s more interesting, however, is that the interior looks rather atypical for Genesis.

For one thing, the central display and the digital dash cluster are now combined into a single unit. Hardware controls remain only for switching seat heating and ventilation on and off, as well as for adjusting the interior temperature. The steering wheel has some rocker buttons, and the infotainment unit also features a few quick access controls, but most of the functions will likely be controlled via a small sensor panel.

Elsewhere, the drive mode selector is ball-shaped, like on the Concept X, and the door handles are round, as is the remote control for the reversing camera. A speaker is built into the right door for the sake of symmetry, and there is no transmission tunnel between the dash panel and the floating center console.

In all likelihood, the new model will be based on the same E-GMP tech as the Kia EV6 and the Ioniq 5 (see video). Having said that, as a premium model it should get more power and a larger battery.
