This Ferrari EV is a 16-hp, 60-km/h Testa Rossa replica for kids
Little Car Company has announced the release of a downsized replica of the iconic Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa for children. It is 1/4 smaller than the original (watch the video and compare with the pictures), based on OEM blueprints, and authorized by Ferrari.
Coming in at 3.1 meters (121 inches) long, the toy car sports an aluminum body, Brembo brakes, and Pirelli tires. The cabin imitates the original in everything, ranging from the dashboard and Nardi steering wheel to the brand of the leather used for the upholstery.
Powering the ride is an electric system rated at 16 PS (16 hp / 12 kW). Like in the real thing, you can switch between drive modes called Comfort, Novice, Race, and Sport using a manettino dial. The default mode is limited to 1 kW and 20 km/h (12.4 miles per hour). Switching to Sports unlocks 60 km/h (37.3 mph), but parents can disable it at their discretion.
The Litte Car Company Testa Rossa even has all the requisite lights and sound indicators, but whether it can be made road-legal is unknown at this time. Interested buyers are invited to pick their favorite exterior and cabin trim combo in the configurator app, and some iconic Ferrari liveries are being offered as well.
