X6 facelift debuts in China, isn’t a BMW

Geely has shared the photos of the 2022 Vision X6 Pro, the fifth mid-generational refresh of the X6 crossover SUV throughout its nine-year-long history. The sales will begin later this month, although prices remain to be announced.

The main goal of the restyling is to make the car look in line with the marque’s latest design direction. To this end, it gets an upsized radiator grille with many vertical bars, revised aprons, and reshaped tailpipes. The lighting is also different all around, with a tailgate strip connecting the brake lights.

The interior comes draped in dual-tone leather, while the dashboard boasts an intricate geometrical ornament. There is a new dash cluster and an infotainment touchscreen varying from 8 to 12.3 inches in diagonal size depending on the trim level. The steering wheel is squared off from below, and the center console is slightly different, too.

Like its predecessor shown in the video, the X6 Pro uses a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in conjunction with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, or otherwise an eight-range CVT. It produces 141 PS (139 hp / 104 kW).
