Toyota redesigns the Corolla Cross for domestic market
Having debuted this summer, the Toyota Corolla Cross is already available to buy in the USA, South America, Thailand, and Taiwan. Japan finally joins the list now, with minor stylistic retouches.
The JDM-spec Corolla Cross sports a different radiator grille, headlights, front bumper, wheels, and taillights. The interior stays the same as the international version, except for the right-hand drive.
In Japan, the model is available with a 1.8-liter electrified powertrain and a choice between FWD and AWD. Prices vary from 1,999,000 to 3,199,000 Yen. From day one, buyers can opt for a Modellista tuning kit including an aggressive-looking front bumper, a splitter, side skirts, and 17- and 18-inch wheels.
