Video: Inkas shows a bulletproof VIP limo with a Sprinter exterior

Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer Inkas has released a short video highlighting the features of its stunning recent conversion, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter clad in armor and modified for maximum interior luxury.

The motto goes “Luxury and minimalism combined”, and we find the combination very appealing, indeed. There are only four passenger seats inside, but what seats they are! Heating, ventilation and massage are only some of the features supported, because the company makes every example to custom order to ensure absolute comfort. Passengers can adjust window blinds and ambient lighting near their seats to their liking without interfering with the others. Other amenities include folding tables, charging ports, a mini-fridge for drinks, a TV set and a coffee machine, among others. Should you want it, you can even put a fully featured bathroom in the back.

The VIP Limo, as Inkas calls it, comes with optional BR6-grade armoring (CEN 1063) and can withstand sustained automatic gunfire. The example featured in our gallery and in the video is armored, but it is not mandatory. Power comes from a 188-PS (185-hp / 138-kW) turbo diesel engine with three liters of displacement, although other, more powerful options should be entirely possible.

Prices remain unmentioned, but according to various sources, Inkas conversions tend to begin from $200,000 USD and go beyond $500,000 USD with all boxes ticked.
