Rare Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RSX looking for a new owner

The sports sedan has put over 85,000 km (52,800+ miles) on the odo since 2000, but it belongs to an exclusive series of only 30 RSX units produced, and is one out of only 10 finished in silver, so the mileage is barely a consideration.

The asking price in the UK is £45,000, around one-third of the cost of the most expensive Evo on record, which was sold at an auction last year. Ralliart UK made these cars based on the stock Evo VI model, positioning them as ‘starting points’ for serious rally racing conversions. Compared to the Evo, the RSX had zero electronic aids (not even ABS), very sharp steering, lightweight bodywork and an ascetic cabin with stiff Recaro seats.

This example had some aftermarket options installed as well. These included new brakes and shock absorbers, an HKS exhaust system, a new ECU and a different intake manifold. We would imagine the 2.0L turbo under the hood producing more than the stock 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW) and 373 Nm (275 lb-ft) of torque, but exact numbers are not available.

According to the seller, the car comes with its entire history documented, including all modifications and maintenance episodes.
