Chevrolet showcases Z06 aerodynamic parts in action

The new Chevy Corvette Z06 is not all about raw performance: the sports car has a body kit that sets it apart from the C8 Stingray – here’s a video explaining the difference.

By default, the Z06 comes equipped with a front splitter and a regular spoiler generating downforce. The hood also participates in shaping the airflow, directing some of it to the engine and the rest along the roofline for more downforce.

Those willing to squeeze the most out of the Z06 aerodynamic formula are invited to purchase an optional carbon-fiber body kit adding several further components, most notably a massive rear wing. Finally, track-minded drivers can upgrade to a flagship spec called the Z07, which brings along revised suspension and unique, purpose-designed Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires.
