The V10 Showdown: Lexus LFA vs. Lamborghini Huracan STO

Have you ever wondered how top-of-the-line supercars of the past match up with their modern successors? Then be sure to watch this video by ThrottleHouse, which pits a Lexus LFA up against a Lambo Huracan GTO. Both are packing naturally aspirated V10s, so it should be fun!

The Japanese supercar is considered a rarity nowadays, so the prices usually exceed $1,000,000. Its 4.8-liter engine can rev up to 9,000 RPM and produces 560 PS (552 hp / 412 kW) along with 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque.

In turn, the Huracan STO is a track-focused supercar that manages to stay just tame enough to be road-legal. Its 5.2-liter V10 pumps out an impressive 639 PS (630 hp / 470 kW) and 565 Nm (417 lb-ft) of torque. Aside from offering more power, it also sports many aerodynamics-friendly mods and has a body that consists of 75% carbon fiber.

In case you are still reading this and need a reason to watch the elderly LFA get beaten, here’s a spoiler to get your attention: the LFA wins the first round hands down. How’s that for a plot twist?
