Zeekr previews its opulent 009 MPV, reveals some specs

Zeekr, a young brand established by Geely Automobile, has shared photos of a rather large all-electric minivan called the 009, expected to reach the market in China in late 2022.

The vehicle is 5,209 mm (203.5 inches) long, 2,024 mm (79 inches) wide, 1,856 mm (72.5 inches) tall and has 3,205 mm (125.2 inches) between the axles. This makes it comparable to the Buick GL8, which transitioned into its next generation earlier this summer. Having said this, the 009 benefits from a much longer wheelbase.

The images are scarce on details, but the company promises us novel headlights, 154 LEDs in the radiator grille and 402 LEDs in the taillights.

Interior shots remain to be published, but the MPV seen here clearly has two separate seats in the second row. As such, we expect it to debut in six- and seven-seat variants to choose from.

Technical details are also pending. Earlier on, Zeekr stated that the model was based on the same SEA architecture as its first production car, the 001. The large hatchback has been available since last fall. As for the 009, its NEDC-rated electric range is currently estimated at 700 km (435 miles).
