Lamborghini’s next flagship supercar reveals cabin ever so slightly

Day by day, the Italian automaker is inching closer to revealing the long-anticipated successor to the Aventador. In the meantime, the car was once again spotted on the streets, this time sitting around with an aero kit warning light on the dashboard.

It is already official that the new supercar will be a hybrid based on a 12-cylinder internal combustion engine designed completely from scratch. Judging by the tachometer, the redline is at 8,500 RPM. The prototype has nearly 7,000 km (4,350 miles) under its belt already and has apparently run into aero kit issues, as indicated by a message in the upper left corner of the dash screen.

The center console accommodates two displays, the bottom one likely responsible for HVAC controls and the top one acting as the infotainment system interface.

The premiere remains penciled in for next year.
