New Renault Espace SUV appears in its first teaser

Along with publishing the first video showing the next-generation Espace, Renault revealed that the model had been reimagined as a three-row SUV and would no longer be available in minivan flavor.

According to Carscoops, the novelty will look much like the Renault Austral, just larger.

As for the teaser, it reveals some of the tailgate with an upscaled Renault logo and the taillights. The LED weave inside strongly resembles that of the Austral, indeed.

The new Espace comes based on the CMF-CD platform and will be available in a wide range of powertrains, including mild and plug-in hybrids.

The premiere date remains secret thus far.
