Nissan Kicks justifies its name by pretending to be a sneaker

Nissan and New Balance have teamed up to unveil a one-off Nissan Kicks 327 Edition. The crossover SUV was comprehensively stylized to resemble the New Balance 327 sneakers.

The whole car is covered with a livery that painstakingly imitates the materials and the stitching of the original SUV, while a white rim around the lower body looks like the sole. The roof bears a custom-fabricated add-on resembling a sneaker neck with straps, which can also be found on the hood cover.

The Kicks 327 Edition will appear on various promotional events and shows around Japan, as well as on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka.
