Nissan Max-Out Concept debuts in metal

Nissan has driven its design study called Max-Out into the spotlight. If you are getting déjà vu vibes, that’s probably because the same car was previewed in November 2021 as a series of 3D renderings.
It is perplexing why Nissan decided to go through with the idea of building the convertible in metal, though. As a pure design study, it was never intended for the market. Regardless, the wheels look pretty cool with their hypnotizing 3D funnel looks, and the whole ride is alit with neon lights like an alien starship. An ultrawide display can be seen inside.
The automaker refused to say anything about the drivetrain and technical specifications, so we assume the Max-Out is just a mockup of a car with no unique internals underneath.
