2024 Porsche Taycan spied testing in deceptive camo

The design philosophy of the Porsche Taycan EV stems from the 2015 Mission E Concept, which is getting a little dated now. No wonder the German sports car maker is working on a facelift.

The spy shots posted by Motor1 may baffle at first, because the car underneath the test wrap looks exactly like a stock Taycan. A closer examination, however, reveals new air intakes below the headlights, carefully concealed with the help of a body-matching sticky tape. The same tape masks the changes in the front bumper design. The headlights look standard, but they could be refreshed later on.

Rumor has it that the new Taycan will debut with a particularly powerful modification capable of 1,000 PS (986 hp / 735 kW) or so.

Porsche has assembled more than 100,000 units of its all-electric sports car already if you count the Cross and Sport Turismo versions. There is little doubt that the facelifted version will be every bit as popular.
