The VW ID.4 is a part of the Marvel cinematic universe now

Volkswagen has filmed an ad of its all-electric ID.4 SUV starring a couple of Marvel superheroes. The EV will be driven by the protagonist of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania when it premieres on February 15, 2023.

Volkswagen reps have commented that the collab occurred to them naturally due to the image of Ant-Man. The company believes that the character is authentic, relatable and has a superb sense of humor – a spitting image of the average Volkswagen electric car buyer.

The previous instalment of the franchise, Ant-Man and the Wasp, starred an upgraded Hyundai Veloster instead. It remains to be seen what trials the VW ID.4 will have to go through in the new superhero movie, but it will definitely shrink to atomic sizes and expand back. The ad even explicitly states the size-changing voodoo is not included with your purchase. You know, just in case.
