Rare Lamborghini Diablo crops up on sale

A 27-year-old Lamborghini Diablo with no more than 17,500 km (10,874 miles) on the odometer and a completely transparent ownership record is on sale in Russia. The seller claims there is no other Diablo in the entire world as well-preserved as this one and asks a cool 35 million Rubles for it (U.S. $455,000).
The car is a VT Roadster spec. The VT series debuted in 1993, three years after the standard model, and introduced AWD to it along with other novelties.
A couple of years ago, the VT Roadster joined the range (see video). Aside from a removable top, it landed with a plethora of exterior design modifications, such as a different engine bay lid and a restyled front bumper.
Power for the Diablo was supplied by a 5.7-liter V12 rated at 492 PS (485 hp / 362 kW) and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft). A five-speed manual transmission allowed it to reach highway speed in four seconds flat and ultimately hit 325 km/h (202 mph) or so.
Lamborghini made around 400 such coupes and only half as many roadsters. The seller claims each example was built to order. The buyer will be getting a full package of documents and a maintenance record with their purchase.
