Geely Boyue spawns a new special
Geely has posted pics of a new member of its Boyue family of SUVs, looking more compact than the stretched Boyue L. AutoHome reports that it will go on sale under the name ‘Boyue Cool’, at least in China.
Only a handful of exterior shots are available at this moment. The overall styling direction is the same as the Boyue L (see video) – sculpted bodywork, sharp edges, a massive front grille and T-shaped headlights.
That said, the Boyue Cool is 160 mm (6.25 inches) shorter than its stretched counterpart and has 75 mm (2.93 inches) less space between the axles. It runs on the CMA platform co-designed with Volvo.
The remaining details will be revealed during the official premiere, which may take place as soon as the 2023 Auto Shanghai show starting in mid-April.
