Next-gen Porsche Panamera to be released later this year

Rumor has it Porsche will be showing us the new Panamera later this year. Unofficial reports claim that it will preserve the exterior styling for the most part, but come with a revised engine lineup and an all-electric option.

The body kit will allegedly undergo a Taycan-inspired redesign with some features borrowed from the Cayenne facelift as well. On the whole, though, the new Panamera should stay true to its original design (in the gallery and the video below).

We are told that non-hybridized IC engines will continue to be available, but they will be modernized to comply with the latest environmental standards in Europe. Hybrids will be overhauled with stronger engines and larger batteries. A power boost is expected across all Panamera versions.

As for the all-electric Panamera, it is rumored to be in development, scheduled to arrive the last of the bunch.
