Video: 12 SUVs get compared on drag strip

CarExpert (Australia) has conducted one of the biggest drag races ever comparing a dozen SUVs and crossovers with each other. Here’s the video.

The list of contenders includes two Ford Everests (a four- and a six-cylinder version), a Lexus LX 600, a Toyota Land Cruiser 300, a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, a Toyota Fortuner, an Isuzu MU-X, a Nissan Patrol, a bulky Jeep Grand Cherokee L, a SsangYong Rexton and a diesel-powered Land Rover Defender 110.

Since all 12 did not fit onto the track in a safe manner, they raced in three groups, four participants in each. The qualifying rounds left only the Defender, the LX 600 and the MU-X standing. Which one was crowned the champion? Watch the video to find out!
