Nissan has premiered its IMq Concept at the Geneva Motor Show earlier today. The car manufacturer claims the show car looks and feels much like the upcoming generation of the Qashqai SUV.
The car sports V-shaped headlights, an enormous panoramic glass roof and rear-hinged ‘suicide’ doors.
The interior of the Nissan IMq Concept houses an all-digital dashboard, four separate seats and a copper-tinted center tunnel.
The crossover SUV comes with a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine used solely as a power generator and two electric motors jointly producing 340 hp (254 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lbft) of torque.
In an earlier statement, the Japanese automotive giant said the new Nissan Qashqai would arrive in 2020. Rumors say it will be ship with a number of traditional and hybrid drivetrains to choose among.
