Nissan will use the 2019 Auto Shanghai show starting on April 16 to introduce what it calls a brand-new sedan/saloon that takes advantage of the innovative tech the company researched according to its strategy called “Nissan Intelligent Mobility”.
The list most likely includes electronic driver aids, Internet services and other similar features.
The Japanese manufacturer adds that the new car incorporates the latest changes in the overall design philosophy of the marque. This might mean that the car will look more or less like the IMs Concept; after all, Nissan chose to attach a photo of that concept car to its announcement.
There are several fairly good guesses as to what to expect at the show. We already know that Nissan has been working on a vehicle to replace its outdated Sentra and Almera models, so it could be that one. Aside from that, we have recently seen a camouflage-clad test mule looking suspiciously like a Nissan Versa, so that one is also pretty high on our list of expectations. With that in mind, you cannot rule out the possibility that the car slated to debut at the Auto Shanghai is an entirely new and different vehicle.
In other news, Nissan will soon debut its next-gen Juke SUV. Based on the leaked spy photos, the car gets to keep its trademark round headlights and overall charisma while getting minor improvements, such as the narrow-slit headlights or the side mirrors moved to a different position.
