Nissan has revealed Vmotion 2.0 family sedan

New four-door sedan debuted yesterday at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It should showcase Nissan’s new sedan design direction.

Measuring 4860mm long, 1890mm wide, 1380mm tall, and riding on a 2850mm wheelbase, the Vmotion 2.0 has a dynamic and futuristic design with sharper surfacing and crisper detailing compared to the existing the Murano and Maxima models. The concept car has a floating roof look and a dramatically cut side window line. Nissan describes its design like "emotional geometry".

The  rear diffuser and the front grille badge glow when the car is in self-driving mode. It was made to signaling to road users and pedestrians that the car is controlled by autopilot and sees them. New Vmotion features next-generation ProPilot. This self-driving technology with the latest HMI allows for autonomous driving on the freeways and on urban roads with intersections.

The concept car’s interior features white leather seats with threadless quilting and an ultra-wide HD touchpad that designed specifically for self-driving systems. It combines the instrument panel and infotainment system. There is also a smaller screen on the back of the center console that will display similar information for rear-seat passengers.
