Nissan supports both sides of the Force with Star Wars-themed concepts

Unusual concepts of Altima and Maxima sedans as well as Rogue and Rogue Sport SUVs have been introduced by Nissan to the audience at the International Car Show in Los-Angeles, U.S.A. The event, the likes of which usually only get noticed by car industry professionals alone, raised quite a commotion in the cinema-going audience.

Reason? Well, you know it by now: all six vehicles are themed after “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”, the latest instalment of the series scheduled for release in December 2017. It goes without saying that the Nissan booth itself was redesigned as well to follow the spirit of the legendary space saga.

Regrettably, there is not going to be a mass-produced version of any of these concepts. On a brighter note, this is not the first time the Japan-based Nissan Corporation builds “space cars”. A SUV named Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition was demonstrated to the wide audience in 2016 only to enter retail in the U.S.A. and Canada some time later. With high-quality exterior and interior finish, the off-roader was an instant hit.
