Nissan vows to electrify new cars on most markets by 2030

Nissan’s electrification strategy for the next nine years includes switching to electrified cars for Europe, United States, China and Japan. The company expects to become climatically neutral by 2050.

This necessitates fast implementation of solid-state battery tech in production cars, among other things. Additionally, the Nissan e-Power serial hybrid tech must find application in most new cars. Enterprises are encouraged to switch to renewable energy sources, recycle waste and optimize production processes across the board.

According to estimations, renewable power sources along with growing woods and increasing use of EVs over ICE cars should compensate for any harmful emissions produced by companies.
